Ways God is using business leaders to change the world.
God is working in incredible ways. Psalm 111:2 says “Great are the works of the Lord; They are studied by all who delight in them.”
My goal is to introduce you to 5 different business leaders and to give you a few ways to dig deeper into their stories. Each story has a question to pray about that will allow you to personally consider what it could look like in your life. Additionally, each story provides a tool that you could start using today.
Let’s study some of the amazing things God is doing and may you be inspired by what He wants to do through you!
Alan & Katherine Barnhart with Barnhart Crane
Started their company with a commitment to not just grow their own wealth but to give.
Intentionally limited their personal salary.
Eventually structured their company so God owns everything.

The company and employees donate to help those in need on their team and in the community.
Started a ministry to do crazy things to love on people called Grace Outreach.

Dave and Jan Kier with DFS
Supported missionaries and their local church for many years.
Started investing in a business in Central Asia with the goal of making disciples after visiting Business As Mission (BAM) businesses around the world.
Took what they learned from their feed mill in the US and invested time and money to start a feed mill in Zambia to help reach all sub-Sahara Africa for Christ.

Give 50% of business profits to their community and the world to share the love of Jesus.
Have shared the gospel with over a billion souls through their generous giving and partnerships.
Publically share the gospel in their manager’s trainings.

Common Themes
